Necessities was incorporated as a non-profit organization in July 2005. 
Necessities is a volunteer organization and relies solely on donations for support.

Mastectomy patients are never charged for a Necessities Bag.

Necessities Bags may be sponsored for $50 each.

A contribution of any amount is truly appreciated --
whether your gift sponsors a bag or offers general support to the organization.

Include a short message or just your name on a gift card to be placed inside the Necessities Bag.
You may never know the woman you helped, but she will have your name to remember.

Necessities, Inc. is a 50lc(3) organization and donations are tax deductible according to law. All gifts are acknowledged in writing for tax records.

Contributions to Necessities can be made in honor of a woman battling breast cancer, in memory of someone, or for special occasions such as Mother’s Day or a birthday.

Donations may also be made to support national distribution of Necessities Bags. Please let us know if you wish to support an established Necessities Affiliate in another state.

Matching Gifts

Many companies, small and large, have matching gift programs which double or even triple individual contributions made by their employees. This program may also be available to the spouse of an employee or a retired employee. The Human Resources Department will have information about company matched gifts.
