Affiliates Bring Necessities to Woman Across America!
When Maureen Lutz created the Necessities Bag after her own surgery in 2005, she soon realized there was nothing like it anywhere that was so specific to the needs of the mastectomy patient. As interest grew, she helped establish programs in other states so that the Necessities Bag could reach more women.
Several of the Necessities Affiliates were started by passionate individuals and survivors, while others are associated with breast cancer support centers, surgeons, or hospitals.
